Healthcare Provider BLS Courses

The Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support course, often designated as BLS Provider, is a course chosen by medical personnel and professionals who need to respond to cardiac and pulmonary emergencies. When a person enters into Cardiac arrest, for which the heart enters into critical life-threatening rhythms, the heart stops moving blood and the person quickly enters into a state of unconsciousness and stops breathing or breathing normally (agonal gasps). Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) protocols need to be implemented promptly, without delay, to give a person the best chance of survival. This course incorporates CPR standards, which emphasize proper depth, rate and recoil and the use of an AED, but also explores the dimensions and relevance of a pulse check and the use of a Bag-Valve-Mask when delivering BLS protocols.Breath for Life (First Aid Education) Inc offers the Heart & Stroke Foundation BLS Course and Canadian Red Cross BLS Courses:

Professionals who select these courses include:

  • Doctors and Nurses: Physicians, registered, and student nurses
