The CPR Level-C Course, a 6 hour in-class training session, covers life-threatening Airway, Breathing and Circulatory emergencies. Recognition of Life-threatening emergencies, which lead to Shock, is essential in the provision of care until EMS arrives. Practicing CPR and AED use during a CPR Level-C course is emphasized because survival hinges on rapid recognition of Cardiac Arrest and effective delivery of resuscitation skills. In Canada, Coronary Artery Disease is a leading cause of death. Being prepared for this critical life-altering event, may help save a life at home, in the workplace or anywhere.
This Red Cross certification course is intended for lay providers (some medical providers may qualify to take this course) and is not equivalent to the Heart and Stroke Healthcare Provider CPR Course which is intended for Healthcare Providers.
CPR Level-C Course Details
- Time: See in-class times below
- Duration: 6 hours (In-Class)
- Cost: $95.00 + GST = $99.75 (Includes a Digital Version of the CPR Manual which is available within your notification registration email)
- Certificate: Certificates will be issued to your Red Cross Account by the Canadian Red Cross. Your certificate is valid for three years.

- If you have a current certificate (not expired), you are eligible to take the Renewal Course
- Breath for Life includes a digital training manual in the course cost
