Breath for Life commits to keeping you safe during your course. The Red Cross BLS Course is meant for Healthcare Providers (HCP) who do not require the Heart and Stroke BLS course. Please check with your agency or organization if this is the correct course for your needs. This course focuses on CPR delivery, to the various age groups, defibrillation and the use of a bag valve mask (BVM); it does NOT include First Aid content. This is a practice based course with an emphasis on achieving high quality CPR. The safe delivery of air volume, using a BVM, is practiced within the context of CPR . Breath for Life can adapt this course to your needs by including airway management and oxygen administration. Please email the office for cost details. This course is available to groups only. - Certificate: On completion of this course the Red Cross will issue a certificate to your Red Cross account; certificates are valid for 1 year.
